Format #1.

  1. Go to Mobile Phone Menu
  2. Choose My MTN Service and select Mobile Money
  3. Select Transfer Money
  4. Choose Mobile User
  5. Note: When you select transfer money, a list of pop up menu will appear then select Mobile User
  6. Choose Subscriber
  7. Enter Mobile Number of the registered person
  8. Repeat the mobile number entered above
  9. Enter the amount of money in figures
  10. Type in reference
  11. Then enter the 4-digit Mobile Money pin code
After entering your pin code, a message should be sent notifying you that you have tranfered the money.
It has a message like this;

Mobile Money Advice
Payment Made for GHC XXX.XX to XXXXXXXXXX(the number you sent the money to)
Current Balance:
GHC XXX.XX
Available Balance:
GHC XXX.XX
Reference:XXX
Transaction ID:
XXXXXXXXX


Format #2

  1. Dial *170# and send
  2. Select Transfer Money from #1
  3. Select #1, mobile user
  4. Input #2, as subscriber
  5. Enter the person's number and repeat
  6. Enter amount in figures eg. 10,000
  7. Enter reference eg. VCD
  8. Enter pin code(Your 4-digit code)
After, it should give you confirmation that you have successfully made payment.
